This is a full-time position with the office hours of 8:30am-5:00pm; Monday-Friday however must be flexible with on-call availability. Behavioral Technician / ABA Therapist

BehaviorWorks ABA (BehaviorWorks LLC) is provider of Early ABA intervention
and Medicaid Waiver Behavior Support Service for the greater Indianapolis Area.
We provide home and community based intervention to children who have been
diagnosed with Autism and other neurological and developmental delays.

The role of the Behavioral Technician is to provide home and community based
1:1 sessions to children with autism in a program specifically designed for each
child. The interventionist must integrate knowledge and capability to help the
child develop social skills, play skills, language skills, attention skills, and self help
skills.

BehaviorWorks ABA provides services where they are needed most, in the
natural environment. Behavior Technicians assist the clinical team in
demonstration of skills and techniques to parents as part of the parent training
transfer of knowledge. Each program is custom tailored to meet each child’s
needs and individual characteristics.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Behavioral Technician / ABA Therapist
• BS/BA in Psychology, Education, Special Education, Speech Communication
Disorders (preferred)

• IN Driver’s License, reliable transportation and auto insurance

Behavior Consultant
The Behavioral Consultant is responsible for the provision of behavioral and counseling services to individuals served by our organization. This position provides behavioral therapy and counseling to individuals as well as training to associates (including Direct Support Professionals) regarding behavioral management techniques. Qualified applicants must possess the ability and willingness to work flexible hours and transport clients in their personal vehicle. A valid Indiana Driver’s License and proof of auto insurance are also required.

Basic Qualifications
Education: A Master’s degree is required in Clinical Psychology, counseling Psychology, School Psychology or another applied health service area of psychology, Special Education, Social work, or counseling.
Experience: One year of experience in counseling and/or behavior management working with persons with developmental disabilities is required.
Licensure: LCSW or LMHC not required but is preferred.

Home Based Therapist
The Home Based Therapist (HBT) provides therapy and counseling to families referred by the Department of Child Services or Juvenile Probation. Therapy sessions are conducted within the family home. The HBT attends Child and Family Team Meetings, attends Court as requested, and participates in clinical supervision as well as maintains communication with the referring agent. Qualified applicants must possess the ability and willingness to work flexible hours and transport clients in their personal vehicle. A valid Indiana Driver’s License and proof of auto insurance are also required.

Basic Qualifications
Education: Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, School Psychology or Counseling
